1. Protective Lenses

Protective lenses are the most frequently replaced core consumables. They isolate welding spatter, metal vapor, dust and smoke from internal precision optical components. Long-term welding operation will cause surface scratches, stains and burn marks on the lens, resulting in scattered laser beams, weak energy output and defective welding. Timely replacement ensures consistent laser transmittance and stable welding quality for multi-SKU batch production.

2. Welding Nozzles

Made of high-conductivity copper alloy, laser welding nozzles are wearable parts installed at the front of the welding head. They precisely guide shielding gas to the welding area, prevent molten pool oxidation, and shape the laser beam output. During continuous processing, nozzle holes are easily blocked by welding spatter or deformed by high temperature. Damaged nozzles lead to uneven gas output, oxidation of weld seams and inconsistent molding quality.

3. Ceramic Rings

Ceramic rings are insulating and positioning accessories fixed inside the welding head. They stabilize nozzle installation accuracy, ensure coaxiality between laser beam and gas flow, and resist high-temperature burning. Cracked or aging ceramic rings cause positioning deviation, beam offset and unstable gas circulation, which greatly affect the consistency of finished workpieces.

4. Shielding Gas

Argon and nitrogen are the main consumable shielding gases for laser welding. They form a protective layer on the molten metal surface to isolate air, prevent oxidation, discoloration and air holes on weld seams. Different metal materials such as stainless steel, aluminum alloy and carbon steel require matched gas types and purity. Stable gas supply is the basic guarantee for high-standard welding appearance and structural strength.

5. Welding Filler Wire

Filler wires are auxiliary consumables used for gap filling, thickening weld seams and repairing workpieces. Corresponding wires of different materials and specifications are selected according to workpiece SKUs, including stainless steel wire, aluminum wire and carbon steel wire. They solve welding defects caused by assembly gaps and improve the firmness and flatness of welding joints.

6. Cooling System Consumables

Special laser cooling coolant and filter elements are long-term circulating consumables. Coolant prevents laser source and welding head from overheating, while filter elements filter impurities in the water circulation system. Aging coolant and blocked filters cause poor heat dissipation, trigger machine overheating alarms, and reduce continuous production capacity.

7. Protective Window Glass

Different from conventional protective lenses, protective window glass bears stronger laser energy and industrial dust erosion. It protects the focusing lens and optical path system. It is easy to produce light attenuation after long use, which reduces welding penetration and affects the processing effect of thick plate workpieces.
